Telstra rated worst - Melbourne Herald Sun(Internet ISP News)
TELSTRA BigPond has been rated as the worst internet service provider for quality of service and cost. The 2007 Choice computer ISP satisfaction survey found less than a third of respondents were satisfied with their ISP, the biggest complaint being cost. The survey found Telstra BigPond was the most common ISP connecting 33 per cent of respondents to the internet. The clear winners in the survey were the smaller ISP companies, newcomers such as Internode and Netspace - where customers were more likely to be satisfied with their connection speed and total cost of the account. Mr Zinn said that the lesser-known ISP companies could compete on price and were able to pay closer attention to service. Mr Zinn said consumers also considered customer service and technical support as crucial to a good experience with their ISP provider. read more
