Why is my personal computer going so very slow?
Your initial time spent with your new pc started so well. It used to run windows xp so quickly. Of course now it’s a snail! Programs take a very long time to execute. You often ask yourself Why is my computer running slow ? You then think you could buy a new computer but this is definitely not the best approach. Aside from the added expenditure, there is really no need to do this and you can save your cash.
Thankfully there is a solution. I had the same problem and penned a blog to describe it called http://www.whyismycomputerrunningslow.org This webpage goes into detail about my frustrating experiences with my slow computer and shows how I fixed the problems easily and inexpensively. It’s definitely worth a go.
There are a bunch of things to do to improve the speed of your pc. A commonly found cause of a slow laptop is low hard disc space. It’s possible to quickly free up hard drive space by removing temporary files. Another thing to do would be to run a registry cleaner. These are cheap and prove extremely effective.
You should try is to defragment the computer. This could help to make it run much faster.
After using a desktop computer for a long time you have probably installed lots of different programs that you may not need. These applications should be removed using Control Panel Add/Remove programs.
Another reason for a slowing desktop computer is the build up of malware present on your computer. The best way to remove these is to buy an anti-malware program and run it. Lots of people found this to work very well.
Some users found that by simply emptying the contents of the recycle bin, it solved the problem.
In summary, the neatest solution I have tried is to purchase a registry cleaner and let it loose on your laptop. This can be bought quickly and at low cost.
